Is There Something Wrong with The Church?

So I would love for you to read this statistic I am about to show you.

"Only 2 percent of church members invite a unchurched person to church. 


98% of church-goers never extend an invitation in a given year." 


82% of the unchurched are at least somewhat likely to attend church if invited

Shocked. I was. Then I looked at myself, and I felt ashamed, I don't even fall within that 2%
But then it woke me up and got me thinking maybe I should be inviting people to church.


Well I did, and let me tell you, you might feel like you aren't doing anything, but you are indeed, planting a seed. 


I wanna know where is it that we need to work on this statistic. 


Are we becoming dead people in a church body?


Are we becoming cliquish? 


Do we not care?


Are we comfortable and don't want change?


I just want you to ponder this and if it moves you, which I hope it does. 


I know it moved me.
