Joy Comes In All Different Shapes and Sizes

Joy is a beautiful thing. It keeps us going through life. It is not temporary like happiness. It is a steady positive in life that breaks chains :) 

I had joy in some of the best moments of my life. Graduating high school, college, my friends getting married.

I have had joy in the midst of people dying, knowing they were in a better place with our heavenly Father. 

I have had joy through my parent's divorce, because God was my Father and helped me through it all. 

I've had joy through my friendships that end, and the new ones that begin. 

Joy comes in a coffee cup. It comes in the midst of a hard conversation. Joy comes through a smile, listening to someone, or speaking a hard truth into someones life that changes their perspective.

Joy is not always easy to have because joy is not something like happiness, it is consistent.  

Joy through all seasons can happen. It can hope. It can love. 

Joy can come and break through some of the hardest times of your life.  

My joy comes from the Lord, who gives me strength to do all things. Love my family and friends who at one point or another fail me.  

My joy comes from knowing that God is my father and is always there for me in the midst of every circumstance, how bad I fail, falling into temptation, if I reach my hand out, He will reach down and lift me up.  There is no one in life, family, friends, pastor, that can do what He can do.

He turned me from a meek child, who smiled shyly at people.  To a woman of God who fears nothing except for God (and bugs and clowns) and is ready to do anything for Him. 

Joy is my strength, and it comes through both good and bad times! 

If you are lacking joy, try to look at what you have learned through the things that keep haunting you from your past, near present, or future.  

Remember this, you do not have control but if you relinquish control to God, He will reach His hand out and give you a plan that will be better than any plan you could have come up with.  

I've given up my life because it is worthless without God's plan being number one. Comfort zones are dangerous places, vacate those premises ASAP.

I challenge you to give everything  up to God, because with that comes joy. Moral of the story, the very thing humans want, CONTROL, is negatively effecting your life, and you didn't even know.  

Let go, Let God, and Live Free in His Spirit, there is nothing as good as that one thing :)
