Well here I am thinking, it's been way too long since I've last put something up. I promise that I am reflecting on my notes from Jesus Culture:Awakening, soon to come. As for now I am going to reflect on this summer and now beginning my senior year of college. I can't believe how fast life is flying by. All of us are saying how we are freaked out that we are beginning our senior year. It's just too crazy to even think this life is real. You see I've been at the same college this whole four years, at a very special one to say the least. North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. Which ya'll should consider. If you are ready to give your life fully over to God and let Him change your character, cause it happens. From freshman year to senior year I've become the kingdom kid God wants to be, and yes I am still in that process. It is amazing what I've become and still am becoming. Not only am I entering this year with 18 credits, an apartment, a car, but a boyfriend also. Talk about responsibility. God is helping me with all that though. I am also enjoying every single part. God never gives us more than we can handle. Remember that, always. This summer was crazy, working 60 hour weeks, practicing with a whole new worship band from around our area from different churches, multiple times a week. But out of that came an amazing time of worship with wonderful people, great friends, and a special surprise of a boyfriend. But I didn't know that until the end. Keep trucking with whatever you are doing because God will reward you :)
I'm blessed to know God is watching everything I do. I gave up my life to Him awhile ago, when I was 5 but multiple times I've recommitted my life to Him. I don't think I ever understood giving your life away meant everything not just a little piece. God isn't selective He wants everything. All your life. He wants all of your money, not just 10%, and I'm not saying give all your money to the church, but be led by God in the way you should spend your money, every cent. Not just portions. Because He gave His son's whole life, not just part of it. Jesus wasn't 10%, He gave it all for us. I have things in my life, but nothing would be there without God, so I take everything as it could go, and keep my faith in God. He will never fail me. :)
I want to encourage you to wherever you are in your stage of life, God can use you, don't feel too old, or too young. Be you, love people, give God your life, and He will do amazing things. Be free, read the bible, be set free in Christ, for that will last forever, your freedom in life is for awhile....
